The Gift of Animal Life Sanctuary, Inc. (GOALS) was founded in 1996 by the Sonya Fitzpatrick family. GOALS was developed to address the most critical needs of animals by providing financial assistance and other resources to people and organizations who provide care for animals, and who, without such assistance, would not be able to provide care.

The objectives of The Gift of Animal Life Sanctuary (GOALS) are: • provide safe homes for animals • strengthen organizations who serve animal needs • to provide assistance when no other source of assistance is available • reduce unwanted animal pregnancies • advance the understanding of animal needs • to create an environment of care and support for animals • to promote a higher level of understanding of the need to care for animals • to develop a sanctuary for animals.

In support of these objectives GOALS encourages people, organizations and corporations to contribute to GOALS. Information on the many ways in which you can assist GOALS is contained under the menu heading "Making A Contribution."

GOALS serves as an organization to funnel contributions to the most needy of animal care providers. Often these care givers go without food for themselves and many times are without the necessary supplies and utilities to provide proper care. These heroes consider the care of animals to be more important than their own personal needs. 

The Gift of Animal Life Sanctuary, Inc. was incorporated in the United States as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. GOALS accepts contributions in support of the stated objectives and uses the contributions to award grants and other financial and service assistance to address the most critical needs of animals.

Contributions are collected and applications for support are reviewed so that the administrators of GOALS may effectively distribute funds according to our objectives. For more information on receiving assistance, click on the menu heading "Receiving Assistance."

The Gift of Animal Life Sanctuary, Inc. is governed by a Board of Directors and administered by an Executive Director. We strive to limit the cost of administering GOALS to just 15¢ of every dollar collected.
